![]() It seems most of the absolute beginners have been told or influenced by someone that they can produce a grammy winning cd with a month of studying. Tracking, mixing, sends, busses, midi, latency, EQ, mics, converters, plugins, DXI, monitoring.the list goes on forever. Set up PC(DAW) with little or no conceptual knowledge of work flow? I'm talkin people new to the whole recording in general. I'm not talking users with a few years of hardware recording experience, and have practical knowledge of how a hardware studio works. Software based recording is way to much for anyone who is new to recording. ![]() I have been regularly watching all of the CW forums and have made a few replies and new posts, nothing to special, as I don't have a lot to offer most advanced users. While I am no professional or even close in the PC realm I am reasonably knowledgable in the analog or harware studio world. I am pretty new to the Cakewalk Forums, but not new to Cakewalk and what I prefer to call PC recording.
